Practical Applications of STEAM in Music Teaching — CCE-NKUA Programme

In November 2024, a new cycle of the distance-learning professional development programme “Practical Applications of STEAM Education in Music Teaching and Learning” is presented by the Center of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens / GO ARTS. It is designed for educators and professionals interested in connecting music with contemporary technologies and interdisciplinary practices. Topics include digital applications, music production, creative coding, virtual, augmented and mixed reality, and artificial intelligence tools.

Teaching responsibilities in the programme include the design of experiential STEAM music scenarios for different learning environments, with Smaragda Chrysostomou serving as academic lead. The learning materials and activities include practical applications that can be adapted for music-classroom use.
