Workshop on Backing Tracks and Play-Along Videos in the Music Classroom

The online experiential workshop “From Inspiration to the Classroom – From Preparation to Action” takes place on 23 November 2024, organised by the Music Education Laboratory of the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens together with CCE-NKUA / GO ARTS. Four practising music teachers present different routes for lesson design, from the initial idea and preparation of materials to classroom implementation. The session is organised as a sequence of short, practice-oriented workshops.

The workshop “Practical Approaches to Creating Educational Backing Tracks and Play-Along Videos for Music Lessons” presents basic techniques for producing backing tracks and play-along videos, together with ways of organising digital material for performance, listening and group music-making.
