Music Education 4.0 and Synth4Kids at the 36th ISME World Conference

The 36th World Conference of the International Society for Music Education (ISME) takes place in Helsinki from 28 July to 2 August 2024 under the central theme Advocacy for Sustainability in Music Education. The conference brings together researchers, educators, musicians and music-education professionals from around the world through research sessions, presentations and events addressing contemporary approaches to music learning.

Two research papers are presented. The first, in collaboration with Smaragda Chrysostomou, addresses Music Education 4.0, immersive technologies and artificial intelligence in primary music education. The second, in collaboration with Christiana Charalambidou, presents educational scenarios for preschool children using Synth4Kids.
