“From Programming to Sound and from Code to Music” — Online Workshop

The online experiential workshop “From Programming to Sound and from Code to Music: Practical Applications in the Music Lesson” takes place on 25 November 2023, organised by the Music Education Laboratory of the Department of Music Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The session is designed for educators and others interested in connecting programming and music through practical STEAM activities. Participation is free of charge, with a certificate of attendance provided.

The workshop uses the visual programming language Scratch to create musical artefacts, small interactive applications and sound-based activities. Participants work hands-on with core coding concepts and consider ways of adapting them for music lessons.
