Maritime Music Project at the 9th International Conference for the Promotion of Educational Innovation

The 9th International Conference for the Promotion of Educational Innovation takes place in Larissa from 20 to 22 October 2023, bringing together educators, researchers and education professionals around new teaching approaches, technologies and practices in school and higher education. The programme includes research papers and presentations of applications from a wide range of subject areas.

Yannis Mygdanis and G. Kalaitzidis participate with the presentation “Maritime Music Project: Design and Implementation of an Innovative Teaching Proposal Drawing on Ubiquitous Acoustic Ecologies to Connect Music and Maritime Studies”. The paper describes the proposal’s design, the sonic and environmental material used, and activities connecting musical creation, listening and the marine environment.
