Diadromes — Original Music for Pierce Leadership Academy 2023

The performance Diadromes is presented on 7 July 2023 at the Blackbox Theater of Deree – The American College of Greece as part of Pierce Leadership Academy 2023. It is a collaborative theatre project developed over four days by middle- and high-school students, who take part in shaping different elements of the production. Overall coordination is by Giannos Tsatalis, Maria Saliari, Christoforos and Yannis Mygdanis.

The musical layer is developed through improvisation, with provision for participation by students with no previous instrumental experience. Musical guidance and the development of the sonic dimension are led by Yannis Mygdanis, in direct connection with the stage action and the ideas generated by the student group.
