Augmented Reality in the Music Classroom at the 2nd GSME Online Study Day

The 2nd Online Study Day of the Greek Society for Music Education, entitled Back to School #music_for_all, takes place on 10 October 2021 and includes workshops and presentations offering practical ideas for the music classroom. The event is addressed to music educators and is delivered entirely online.

The workshop “Creating Digital Musical Patterns with Physical Objects: Using Augmented Reality in the Music Classroom” uses two original online virtual musical instruments through which participants create rhythmic and melodic patterns with physical objects and minimal technological equipment. The activities are organised around interaction between physical objects and the digital musical environment.
