Digital Little Music Makers at Constructionism 2025

The international Constructionism 2025 – Building Communities, Bridging Ideas conference takes place in Zurich from 24 to 27 June 2025, organised by ETH Zurich and the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH). The programme focuses on constructionist approaches to learning, design and making, with contributions connecting technology, education, object construction and participatory practices.

On 24 June 2025, the paper “Digital Little Music Makers: Designing and Implementing an Innovative Educational Music Proposal Embodying the Concept of ‘Making’” is presented. The study describes a 30-week educational intervention at Pierce – The American College of Greece that combines music production, maker practices, coding, artificial intelligence and immersive VR/AR technologies within a constructionist approach to music learning.
