Individual Instrument Lessons in the Digital Age — GSME Study Day

The online study day “Digital Approaches to Music Teaching in Music Schools: Teaching Proposals and Good Practices” takes place on 22 March 2026, organised by the Music Schools Working Group of the Greek Society for Music Education. The event brings together proposals and examples for the use of digital media in school and instrumental music teaching.

The presentation “Individual Musical Instrument Lessons in the Digital Age: Technological Enhancement or Paradigm Shift?” examines areas for integrating digital media into individual instrumental lessons. It organises these areas of integration around listening, performance, creation, music production, movement, object-making, understanding musical concepts and assessment within a hybrid learning framework.
