Pierce XRLab at iLRN2026 / iLEAD

The 12th International Conference of the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN2026) begins on 14 June 2026, combining online and virtual activities and featuring the iLEAD stream on transforming learning through immersive environments. The conference brings together research and applications related to XR, virtual reality and the design of learning experiences.

On 14 June 2026, the paper “Pierce XRLab: Designing and Developing an Innovative Two-Year XR Curriculum for Immersive Learning in Middle School” is presented. It describes a standalone two-year XR curriculum for middle-school students at Pierce – The American College of Greece, structured spirally across Grades 8–9 and addressing experience, interpretation, critical media literacy, ethics and immersive-design practice.
