Academic Writing in the Age of AI — Guest Lecture at NKUA

On 15 December 2025, an online guest lecture takes place within “Methodology of Academic Research Writing (MU492)” in the MA programme “Music Education in Formal and Informal Environments” at the Department of Music Studies, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The session addresses the use of artificial-intelligence tools in research and academic writing.

The lecture “Academic Writing in the Age of AI: Possibilities, Limitations, and Responsible Practices” examines generative-AI applications for ideation, argument organisation, structural planning, language editing and feedback on drafts. It also addresses source and reference verification, fabricated or inaccurate outputs, bias, data protection, intellectual property and transparency in the use of AI.
