Digital Audio Workstations in Distance-Learning Music Lessons

On 14 November 2020, an online seminar takes place within Kroustofono’s annual professional-development series “Music and the Arts in Contemporary Education.” The session focuses on music creation and production in distance-learning environments, with particular attention to Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs).

The seminar “Using Digital Audio Workstations in Distance-Learning Music Lessons” covers multitrack recording, editing, virtual instruments and samples, timeline-based organisation of musical material and basic mixing processes. It also addresses file exchange, feedback, technical accessibility, network latency and the development of individual or collaborative music projects in synchronous and asynchronous environments.
