Guess the Emojis – Christmas Edition is an interactive music game for the classroom. Students identify Christmas songs from combinations of emojis, connecting images, language and music.
How to play
Designed in Canva, the game includes ten levels of increasing difficulty, with five puzzles per level. Students play in teams and try to identify the song represented by each set of emojis. Each correct answer earns one point; the team with the most correct answers wins each level.
Listening & creativity
After each puzzle, the class can listen to and sing the song, discuss its lyrics and musical features, or respond through drawing and writing. Students can also create their own musical emoji puzzles. The printable team cards can be used to record answers.
