STE(A)M, Tangible Interfaces and Microcontrollers in the Music Classroom — Guest Seminar at NKUA

The invited seminar takes place on 28 March 2022 at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in Room 741, as part of the course “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Music Teaching”. The session focuses on the possibilities of STE(A)M in the music classroom and on the use of physical and digital media within a single creative activity.

The presentation and practical component address tangible interfaces, microcontrollers and musical artefacts. Participants connect objects, sensors and simple electronic systems with sound and musical creation through examples combining making, programming and music practice.
