The article Design and development of three original music-educational digital games for admission exams in Greek music schools was published in the Journal of Culture in Tourism, Art and Education at the University of Patras. The paper presents three original digital music games designed around the content of entrance examinations for Greek Music Schools.
Their design connects specific musical aims, playful interaction and immediate feedback with the developmental characteristics of the intended learners. The applications were developed within the Music Schools working group of the Greek Society for Music Education, while the publication also discusses possible uses beyond examination preparation in primary-school and conservatoire contexts. Each game transforms particular auditory or musical skills into short interactive activities that support repetition and immediate response without losing their playful character. The study also shows how educational-software development can begin from actual assessment needs and produce material that is useful within broader music-learning environments.
