The paper Towards a Model for Selecting Educational Software in Music Teaching-Learning Processes was published in the Proceedings of the 9th Conference of the Greek Society for Music Education, Music Education in a Changing World: Identities, Values, Experiences. The publication proposes a multidimensional framework for pedagogically informed selection of digital tools in music teaching.

The criteria address technological features, content, teaching methods, relationships with music-pedagogical approaches and broader theoretical principles. Particular importance is given to the alignment of software with specific learning aims and with the educational environment in which it will be used. The proposed model does not function as a ranking of applications but as a decision-making framework that helps educators judge whether a particular tool is appropriate for a particular pedagogical context. The paper emphasises that technology acquires educational value only when it is embedded within a coherent musical environment with clear aims, suitable activities and meaningful student participation.
