Yannis Mygdanis’s “GenAI_Seq[01]” (2025), a work for two-channel fixed media lasting 6′58″, is presented at the electroacoustic music concert Tokens of Love for Sound and Resonance, on Saturday 29 November 2025, at 19:00, at Ergastirio (15 Ioanninon and Alikarnassou, Kolonos, Athens). Works and electronic improvisations by students and collaborators of the Contemporary Music Research Center are presented with live spatial diffusion through a 16-channel DIY Acousmonium. Admission is free.
Based on sonic events generated through processes of generative artificial intelligence and on sequences created through elements of algorithmic composition, the work reshapes and reconfigures its material using conventional processing techniques. The encounter between computational procedures and human intervention becomes a starting point for exploring new modes of interaction, expression, and creation within an evolving post-digital environment.
