The KSYME Electronic Music Class Concert takes place on 29 February 2024 at the Athens Conservatoire and presents works created during the first semester of the Electronic Music class. The programme brings together different approaches to electronic and electroacoustic composition.

Among the works is Phonacousmatic Collage, for fixed media (tape), duration 9′16″. The composition forms part of the semester’s concert presentation and is heard alongside new works by the other participants in the class.

Phonacousmatic Collage is presented as a complete work within a concert that brings together different compositional directions from the Electronic Music class. With no live performer, the piece depends on shaping, timing and sequencing prerecorded material. Public listening functions as the final stage of a period of systematic work with electroacoustic sound and places the piece alongside a range of technical and aesthetic approaches. Concert listening also reveals how the work’s dynamic range and density operate beyond the studio environment.
