On 10 June 2025, the Music Schools Group of the Greek Society for Music Education organises a free online workshop for children aged 10–11 preparing for entrance examinations to Greek Music Schools. The session approaches part of the examination preparation through play, listening, and direct musical interaction.
The workshop “Digital Music Games – MusApps” uses original online applications to practise aural and rhythmic skills through short musical activities and immediate feedback. The playful format allows children to repeat and test different skills without reducing the experience to a formal exam simulation. Time is also reserved at the end for questions from children and parents about admission to Music Schools.
Each game organises practice around a specific skill and allows children to repeat an activity without the pressure of an actual examination. Immediate feedback helps them identify difficulties and improve gradually, while the playful format keeps the process flexible and participatory. The workshop therefore connects preparation with familiarity, confidence and independent musical practice.
