On 1 June 2024, the Music Schools Group of the Greek Society for Music Education organises a free online workshop for children aged 10–11 preparing for entrance examinations to Greek Music Schools. The session is organised in a playful format and focuses on aural and rhythmic skills related to the admission process.

The workshop “Digital Music Games – MusApps” uses three original online music games designed for this preparation. Children practise through a sequence of activities and become familiar with the structure of aural and rhythmic tasks in an interactive environment that supports repetition and immediate feedback.

The games allow children to repeat activities strategically and identify immediately where further practice is needed. Their playful format aims to reduce preparation anxiety and turn aural practice into a more active and flexible experience. The applications can also be used independently of examinations to support the development of fundamental musical skills. Repeated practice in a low-pressure environment also helps children become familiar with the format of the tasks before encountering them in an examination setting.
