The professional-development programme “Learning Music through Programming and Programming through Music” begins on 20 November 2023 and has a total duration of 125 hours. Organised by EEPEK, it is aimed at educators and professionals interested in connecting music with programming and digital technologies.
Teaching covers units on code, sound, music production and creative coding. Through practical applications, basic programming concepts are translated into musical activities and digital creations that can be adapted to different educational settings.
The programme works in both directions: musical concepts are used to make basic programming structures understandable, while programming also becomes a tool for composition and experimentation. Applications range from simple sequences to more complex interactive activities. The course aims to provide practical examples that participants can adapt to different levels and teaching contexts. This dual perspective helps participants view music as a field for applying code and code as a tool for organising and transforming musical ideas.
