SoundRoutes will be presented as an oral presentation at the 18th Interdepartmental Musicological Conference of the Hellenic Musicological Society. The conference, themed “Contemporary Music Creation, Tradition and Renewal”, will take place in Arta from 30 October to 1 November 2026. The contribution is scheduled for 31 October.
The presentation introduces SoundRoutes as a digital environment for soundscape creation. It connects field recordings and geolocation with sound points activated as the listener moves through space, drawing on acoustic ecology and ubiquitous music ecologies.
The conference is organised by the Hellenic Musicological Society and the Department of Music Studies at the University of Ioannina. Further information is available through the event link.
