The paper Designing and applying educational scenarios reflecting the Music Education 4.0 perspective for primary music school education was published in the proceedings of the WAAE Global Arts Education Summit Athens 2024, issued by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Press. The study moves Music Education 4.0 from a theoretical framework into the design and implementation of concrete educational scenarios for primary school music.

The activities combine virtual, augmented and mixed reality (VR, AR and MR), artificial intelligence and ST(R)E(A)M-oriented approaches. Their implementation was examined through Design-Based Research in an authentic school setting. Students showed strong interest and participation, while the study emphasises the importance of pedagogical organisation so that emerging technologies remain aligned with explicit musical aims. Technology is examined as one element within a broader music-pedagogical design rather than as an autonomous source of novelty or technical training. In this way, Music Education 4.0 is connected with musical creation, collaboration and the development of musical and technological skills through structured learning experiences.
