The study Integrating ubiquitous music ecologies into STEAM scenarios in music teaching-learning processes, co-authored with E. Perakaki, was published in the Asia-Pacific Journal for Arts Education at the Education University of Hong Kong. The paper examines how ubiquitous music ecologies can structure STEAM scenarios connecting listening, the immediate sonic environment, musical creation and technology.

The pilot study involved children aged 7–9 in a Greek conservatoire and used project-based learning, cooperative learning, augmented reality and authentic problem solving. Analysis is organised around auditory-perceptual ability, creativity, computational thinking and the shaping of digital and physical musical worlds. Activities extend music learning beyond the conventional classroom by treating the surrounding sonic environment as a source of data, musical material and creative problems. The connection between physical and digital musical worlds enables children to develop listening awareness, creativity and technological skills simultaneously. Environmental listening is therefore positioned as an active component of music-making, inquiry and interdisciplinary learning rather than as a separate listening exercise.
